We are looking for enthusiastic Start-Up business owners in the Kirklees postcode to be part of Makers and More in Byram Arcade.

To join the shop, you must:

• Reside, work, or study in the Kirklees postcode area.

• Register with Kirklees Start Up.

• Have a business of 3 years or under.

• We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude, dedication and an entrepreneurial spirit. 

Located in the charming Byram Arcade, you'll contribute to the local community by fostering the growth of your own small business and neighbouring enterprises. Embrace good business ethics and be part of a larger ecosystem to create a distinctive shopping experience and a welcoming community atmosphere for customers.

 

We stock products for businesses under 3 years old and welcome all types of products. When accepting an application, we do consider what is already in the shop, so we don’t have too much of the same thing and ensure it is within keeping with the rest of the shop.

 

The shop will be open Monday to Saturday 10am – 4pm and Sundays when events are taking place in the town centre.

 

You can be as involved as you would like to be, the more involved you are the less commission you pay.

• Stockist Only Simply stock products and no other involvement.

• Anchor Tenant Full Day Work a day in the shop 6 hours a week.

• Marketing Work a day outside the shop on dedicating your time to promote Makers and More.

• ​Committee Member Work in the shop and undertake management responsibilities, involved in background running of the shop.
